A/Prof Navarro is the head of the Mucosal Immunology Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer and Director of Discovery Science at the Centre for Children Nutrition Research (QUT). She has established her career on the development of helminth-derived immunotherapeutics that target tolerogenic dendritic and regulatory T cells. With expertise in allergy and autoimmune diseases, her team uses a multi-omics approach for target discovery and in vitro/in vivo systems to accelerate translation.
